Texas PTA Board of Directors
Texas PTA elects new volunteer leadership every two years to govern the association. On July 20, 2025, Texas PTA President Heidi PeCoy will begin presiding over the 2025-2027 term, along with a new team including President-Elect, Vice Presidents for Advocacy, Field Service, Leadership, Membership, and Programs and Resources, Secretary, Treasurer, and Directors-at-Large.
The first step in seating this new board is the application process. Those wishing to be considered for a position on the 2025-2027 Texas PTA Board of Directors must complete an application, upload a resume, and include two references. Application deadlines will be strictly enforced with no exceptions.

Apply to serve on the Texas PTA Board of Directors 2025-2027
All applicants are asked to establish login credentials before completing the application. This online account will allow users to save their progress on the application and return at a later time.
Following review, all applicants will hear back and selected applicants will be invited to participate in a preliminary virtual interview. Finalists will be interviewed in person in Austin. Texas PTA will reimburse travel expenses according to the General Travel Policy.

- January 5, 2025 (11:59 pm): Application Due
- January 8, 2025 (11:59 pm): References Response Due
- January 16, 2025: Initial Notifications
- TBD: Virtual Interview
- February 21-22, 2025: Finalist In-person Interviews
Slated candidates (one person per position) will be posted on the Texas PTA website no later than April 1, 2025. Elections will be held at LAUNCH at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, July 21-23, 2025.
